Lawrence High struck first in its girls soccer home match with Olathe South, but the Lions fell, 8-1, on Friday night.
The Lions’ Addison Campbell scored the first goal of the game.
Olathe South won the junior varsity match, 4-0, on Friday.
The Lions will play Tuesday at Shawnee Mission North.

I don't mean to be critical, but is this all? No interviews, commentary or photos? Wasn't this a home game? It's not that far to get a reporter and/or photographer down to 20th Street and Louisiana to watch the game. I'm disappointed.
I'm not a Lawrence High fan, but this isn't right. Would there be a reporter at the LHS baseball game, if played at home?

Olathe South was a very physical team and it was a windy afternoon. Olathe South contolled possession most game, especially the first half when they had the wind. OS had 35+ shots on goal, LHS 2
