A small fire damaged a two-story building at 2211 Silicon Ave. early Saturday morning.

Lawrence-Douglas County Fire Medical crews arrived at the building at 12:14 a.m., where they saw smoke and flames coming from the second floor of the unoccupied building, division chief Eve Tolefree said in a media release.

No one was injured in the fire, which was under control by 12:49 a.m. Crews are still investigating the cause.
