Olathe ? Lawrence High softball dropped a doubleheader at Olathe North, 15-5 and 14-4, on Tuesday, both by run rule.

In the first game, Lawrence tied it 5-5 going into the bottom of the fifth inning, but Olathe North posted eight runs in the following frame to put the game out of reach. Olathe North scored two more runs in the bottom of the sixth to end the game.

In game two, down 1-0 in the top of the second inning, Lawrence had the bases loaded with no outs but did not score. Olathe North then came up to bat and scored four runs, all with two outs, in the bottom of the second. After posting nine more runs in the final three innings, the game ended after five.

Lawrence (2-4) plays at Olathe Northwest at CBAC on Thursday.
