Those looking for tickets to see the Jayhawks battle the Kentucky Wildcats in person Monday can expect a wide range of ticket prices.

Various ticket aggregating websites, such as TiqIQ.com and SeatGeek.com, show tickets for Monday’s game at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans still available for anywhere from $50 to $4,500, as of Sunday morning.

The average price? About $317 on Tiqiq.com, according to Chris Matcovich, director of data and communications for TiqIQ. That’s 22 percent higher than last year’s average price — $251 — for 2011 championship game.

Seats are still available all over the Superdome, except for the closest seats, which currently are not listed for sale.
