Overland Park man, 38, faces charges stemming from domestic disturbance in July on Connecticut Street

A 38-year-old Overland Park man was booked into the Douglas County Jail Saturday on a warrant charging aggravated battery related to a July incident.

According to jail records, Douglas County prosecutors have charged Justin McDonald Largent with two counts of aggravated battery, one count of making a criminal threat and one count of battery.

Largent’s case is related to a domestic incident reported at 3:30 a.m. July 21 in the 700 block of Connecticut Street, said Sgt. Matt Sarna, a Lawrence police spokesman. Prosecutors accuse Largent of threatening the alleged victim with a handgun.
