Emporia — Lawrence High’s boys cross country tied finished in a tie for fourth, while the LHS girls took seventh on Saturday at the Emporia High School Cross Country Invitational. Shawnee Mission South won the boys race, while St. Thomas Aquinas won the girls.
The highest LHS boys placer was Gavin Fischer in seventh in 16:59.0. Grace Morgan led the LHS girls with an eighth-place showing in 16:07.5.
