General from Thailand, a KU graduate, to speak at university
A general from Thailand and a Kansas University alumnus is scheduled to return to campus Monday to deliver a brown bag lecture.
Gen. Pahol Sanganetra serves as the deputy permanent secretary for defense for Thailand. He has a doctorate from KU in physics in 1983 and graduated from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth in 1990.
A conversation with the general moderated by Thomas Heilke, a KU professor of political science, is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. Monday at the Kansas Room in the Kansas Union.
