Sarna said police will forward information to the Douglas County District Attorney’s Office for a decision about whether to file charges against a 36-year-old Lawrence man who is accused of using a 67-year-old Lawrence man’s credit card unlawfully 58 times in an eight-month period.
Sarna said the 67-year-old man alleged on Aug. 24 the incidents occurred between Dec. 1, 2010, and Aug. 4, in the Lawrence area, and the reported amount of loss is $15,112.
