Members of Lawrence-Douglas County Fire Medical will take on Douglas County law enforcement officers in a flag football game to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters.

The second annual game starts at 6 p.m. Sept. 18 at Free State High School Football Stadium, 4700 Overland Dr.

The suggested donation to attend the game is $5.

A previous version of this story incorrectly stated where the game will be held. It will be held at Free State.

Thats a little un-fair many of the cops are ex-college football players.

The fire dept. guys work out much more often than the police do...and the cops did get their butts whipped last year. rather convincingly too.

The cops joined the Police Department because they couldn't get hired on by the Fire Department.
