A 57-year-old Lawrence man reported to Lawrence police Tuesday the theft of two of handguns, coins and other items, a total value of $7,680, in a burglary of his residence in the 700 block of Ash Street. The alleged burglary occurred between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Tuesday.
