At least one person was injured in an accident early Friday morning on the 300 of block N. 851 Diagonal Road in southwest Douglas County.

One person was transported to Stormont-Vail Regional Health Center by ambulance shortly after 3 a.m., according to Journal-World news partner Operation 100 News.

Police scanner chatter indicated the victims had been extracted as of 2:30 a.m. A Life Star helicopter was initially requested, but was later canceled by first responders on the scene. The accident was initially reported around 2:20 a.m.
