A 22-year-old Topeka woman died after being involved a single-vehicle accident just before noon Saturday on Interstate 470 in Topeka. Shaylee Oxy was a passenger in a 1994 Dodge Ram being driven by Aryanna P. Declerck, 20, of Topeka, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol report. The driver swerved to the right, and ended up rolling the truck after overcorrecting to the left. Oxy was ejected from the truck. She was reportedly not wearing a seat belt, but that Declerck was. Both were taken to Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka, where Oxy was pronounced dead. Declerck was treated and released, according to a nursing supervisor at Stormont Vail.
