An 11-year-old Oskaloosa boy was taken to Lawrence Memorial Hospital on Monday night after he ran into the side of a car while on his bicycle on Kansas Highway 92.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Domineq Kalinichenko at 6:45 p.m. Monday failed to yield to westbound car driven by an Ozawkie woman as he was headed south on Union Street and tried to cross Jefferson Street, which is K-92 in Oskaloosa.
Domineq was taken to LMH with a possible injury, and he was treated and released, a hospital spokeswoman said Tuesday.
