Oklahoma has fired men’s basketball coach Jeff Capel, according to The Oklahoman’s website, NewsOK.com.

Capel leaves OU after five seasons, where he posted a 96-69 record.

According to The Oklahoman, Capel’s buyout is expected to be between $2 million and $3 million.
