Zach Andregg claimed Lawrence High’s only victory with a convincing win in the 500-yard freestyle, and the Lions placed second at their own swimming and diving invitational on Friday at Knox Natatorium.

Andregg won it 4:56, more than 23 seconds ahead of the runner-up.

Washburn Rural won the team title with 563 points. LHS was right behind at 546.

The meet originally was scheduled for Thursday but was postponed a day because of snow.
