Kansas senior offensive lineman Brad Thorson has been selected to play in the NFL Players Association Game, which will take place on Feb. 5 in San Antonio. The game was formerly known as the Texas vs. The Nation all-star game.

Thorson, who finished his KU career this past season, is listed as an offensive guard and center for the contest. Thorson will play for the Nation team.

“The pressure is on,” Thorson said. “It has been a long time since I have been on the field. It is exciting to get an opportunity to prove myself again. It should be a lot of fun going down to San Antonio and competing with some great senior prospects.”

In 2009, current San Diego Charger and former Jayhawk James Holt was a participant.
