Angelo Chol, a 6-foot-9 senior forward from San Diego’s Hoover High, orally committed to Arizona on Thursday. He chose the Wildcats over Kansas University and North Carolina. Earlier in the week, he eliminated Alabama and Washington.

“I wanted to be in a situation (where I could) play early in my career and have a chance to win a national championship,” Chol told ESPN.com. “I feel with this recruiting class we will have that chance.”

Chol is Rivals.com’s No. 76-rated player in the Class of 2011.

Good move. Kansas is an athletes graveyard you won't run here. Butler has the EXACT same offense but they are allowed to play athletic.

Lighten up pig! KU will fall apart cuz we lost one recruit? Come on. Lots of guys out there left.

And why would Self leave for the NBA? Coach a 35 to 40 game schedule or coach 82 games in the league plus the playoffs? Easy decision. And why would anyone want to live in OKC?

Yes, the sky is falling - we lost at K-State and then the NUMBER 76 RECRUIT IN THE COUNTRY dissed us. Oh well, maybe he'll transfer here, too......and maybe the Jayhawks will make a move deep into the NCAAs this year. Go Hawks!

Pigballin', it's better to stay quiet and have people think you're an idiot than to open your mouth and confirm their suspicions.

Hopefully he transitions better than Withey did after he transfers here from UA!
