Lawrence High junior Reece Wright-Conklin was named this week the Sunflower League’s Most Outstanding Wrestler of the Year, as voted by the league’s coaches.

Coach Pat Naughton was also voted the league’s Coach of the Year.

Wright-Conklin, who won the same honor as a freshman, is the top-ranked 171-pounder in Class 6A with a 31-0 record. The Lions, who won the Sunflower League championship last weekend, are currently the sixth-ranked team in Class 6A.
