Overland Park ? Lawrence High’s girls basketball team had three players score in double figures and the Lions held off Shawnee Mission North, 41-36, on Wednesday night.

TaMiya Green led the Lions with 13 points, while Emily Peterson chipped in 12 and Rachel Kelly 10.

“They did what our seniors need to do,” LHS coach Nick Wood said of the trio. “They made shots at key times and took care of the ball late.”

Lawrence outscored SM North, 12-3, in the third quarter.
