A 24-year-old Lawrence man 24-year-old Haskell Indian Nations University student reported to Lawrence police early Sunday that a man punched him in the face as he was leaving Taste Lounge, 804 W. 24th St. The victim said the suspect was a man about 5 feet, 11 inches tall with black hair. The Haskell student was taken to Lawrence Memorial Hospital with a possible broken jaw. Police continue to investigate.
