UPDATE: The highway reopened about 4 p.m.

The left eastbound lane of Interstate 470 in Topeka is closed from the South Topeka Kansas Turnpike toll gate due to a semi rollover, according to the Kansas Department of Transportation.

An accident occurred round 11 a.m. Friday, and when the truck was uprighted, the trailer split open, littering the highway with grocery goods, KDOT spokeswoman Kimberly Qualls said in a press release.
