Corpus Christi Catholic Church reported to Lawrence police Wednesday the theft of a John Deere Gator from the 6000 block of Bob Billings Parkway.
According to a police report, the incident occurred between February and March of this year. The equipment was valued at $6,800.

Are they sure they put it there? How could they be sure it was stolen in Feb or March if they only just discovered it missing? It could have been stolen in June, maybe. Strange story indeed.
