A 36-year-old Lawrence man faces numerous charges following a chase by Eudora police.
Eric Knackstedt is charged in Douglas County District Court with resisting arrest, criminal damage to property, driving on a suspended license and without insurance, theft, possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia and transporting an open container after Eudora police chased the man both in his vehicle and on foot.
According to Eudora police Sgt. Tom Willis, officers discovered stolen property in his vehicle — about $1,600 worth of items reported stolen from the Lawrence Antique Mall.
A court appearance for Knackstedt is set for 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The passenger in the car with Knackstedt, a 32-year-old Lawrence man, was cited and released.
