Some Lawrence schools have canceled athletic events Friday due to inclement weather:

• Southwest Junior High School tennis match at West Junior High School has been postponed. The match has been rescheduled for Thursday, April 28.
• Lawrence High School’s baseball game at Shawnee Mission east will be played at 3 p.m., Saturday, April 23 at the Johnson County 3 & 2 fields.
• Lawrence High School boys tennis and golf will not have practice. JV tennis matches scheduled for Friday have been moved to Monday.
• Lawrence High School girls soccer games against Shawnee Mission West have been moved to the Shawnee Mission North District Stadium, 7401 Johnson Drive.
