Mission Hills ? Lawrence High golfer Logan Henrichs recorded a 78 to medal and finish eighth on Tuesday at the Shawnee Mission East Invitational at Kansas City Country Club, the first leg of the Sunflower League Invitational.

Free State finished eighth with a 357, and Lawrence High took ninth with a 363.

Lee York, who tied for 36th, led the Firebirds with an 87. Following York were Alex Green (88), Colin Becker (89), Jake Sakumura (93), Nick Allen (94) and Nick Hay (100).

The Lions’ other golfers were Jessie Ohtake (89), Connor Henrichs (94), Devon Weber (102), Brett Van Blaricum (107) and Robbie Andrews ((114).
