Overland Park ? The Lawrence High volleyball team won one match and lost two on Thursday at Shawnee Mission South.

LHS swept SM South, 25-14, 25-21. Shawnee Mission West (25-19, 27-25) and Olathe Northwest (25-23, 25-15) defeated the Lions.

Kiley Mosiman had 39 assists for LHS. Kendall Severa added 33 digs. Kelsey Broadwell tallied 12 digs and 15 kills, and Morgan Green had 13 digs and 16 kills.

Saturday, the Lions (1-2) play in the Olathe South tournament.
