Police are investigating a possible armed robbery in south Lawrence.

Officers found out about the incident shortly before 8:30 p.m. Monday.

They were told someone was walking in the area of 33rd Street and Ousdahl Road when the victim was robbed at gunpoint and then possibly struck with the gun.

The victim was taken to Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

Authorities say the incident may have happened around 7:30 p.m. At last check, no arrests had been made.
