KU chancellor to visit university leaders in South Korea

Kansas University Chancellor Bernadette Gray-Little is scheduled to visit South Korea next month to visit with university leaders there.

Gray-Little will meet with the presidents of Ewha University and Kookmin University, both of which have faculty and student exchange agreements with KU.

She will also recognize a member of the KU Korean Alumni Association for a gift supporting scholarships and international programs.

Official expenses for the chancellor’s trip will be paid with private funds.

The trip precedes a Nov. 29 program at the Dole Institute of Politics, which will feature a conversation with Kathleen Stephens, U.S. ambassador to the Republic of Korea, and Han Duk-soo, the Republic of Korea’s ambassador to the United States.
