Creighton administrator is fourth and final candidate for Kansas University’s open law dean position

Patrick Borchers is the fourth and final candidate for its open law dean position, Kansas University announced Monday.

Borchers is the vice president for academic affairs and a professor of law at Creighton University. He is scheduled to meet faculty, staff and students in a public forum at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday in 106 Green Hall.

Other announced candidates include James Ming Chen, dean and professor of law at the University of Louisville; Michael Moffitt, associate dean for academic affairs at the University of Oregon School of Law; and Annette Clark, associate professor of law and former interim dean of law at Seattle University.

KU is looking to replace Gail Agrawal, who resigned her position last year to become dean of law at the University of Iowa.
