• A 32-year-old Lawrence man reported Wednesday the theft of multiple chain saws from the 2600 block of Bonanza Street. According to police reports, the incident occurred between 10:20 p.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Wednesday. The chain saws were reportedly valued at $1,150.

• A 31-year-old Lawrence man reported Sunday the burglary and theft of personal items from the 4900 block of Jefferson Way. According to police reports, the incident occurred between 1 p.m. Saturday and 5 p.m. Sunday. The personal items included a laptop, an external hard drive, sunglasses, DVDs and an iPod Nano, collectively valued at more than $1,800.
