Monarch Watch has plants for sale
Following Saturday’s Monarch Watch Open House, the program still has plants available for butterfly gardens.
Chip Taylor, director of Kansas University’s Monarch Watch program, said anyone interested in obtaining plants can visit Foley Hall on KU’s West Campus between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. each day this week.
The open house serves as a fundraiser for Monarch Watch, which focuses on education, conservation and research on monarch butterflies.
