Kansas City, Kan. ? Bones have been found in a 55-gallon metal barrel in a Kansas City, Kan., neighborhood.

It was reported that the bones are believed to be human, but they will be examined further.

The discovery was made Friday by a tree-cutting crew working in a heavily wooded residential area.

The case is being investigated as a homicide. Police spent Friday afternoon knocking on doors in the neighborhood looking for information.
