Overland Park ? Lawrence High pitcher Lauren Massey allowed just two runs in two victories, 6-0 and 9-2 decisions on Monday at Shawnee Mission West.

In the first game, Jamie Morgison (3-for-4), Kasey Waite (2-for-4 with a double) and Kristen Bell (2-for-3) led the Lions offensively.

In the second game, LHS scored seven runs in the top of the seventh inning to put away the Vikings.

Massey had a triple and two RBIs, and Waite added a double and an RBI for the Lions.

LHS (2-2) will travel to Shawnee Mission East on Thursday.
