Several Kansas University basketball players were asked about their futures in a gloomy KU locker room Saturday.

Junior Cole Aldrich, who is expected to turn pro, said he had yet to make up his mind.

“I’ve got no idea right now,” Aldrich said. “Right now, there’s so many things coming through my mind, I’m just going to take a few days to rest my body and mind.”

Senior Sherron Collins said he felt Aldrich definitely would be leaving.

“I hugged everybody. Some people, this might be their last game. I’m definitely for sure it’s Cole’s last game. I don’t know about Xavy yet, but I’m pretty sure, you know, he can do some things. I told them they’ve got to keep their head up.”

Freshman Xavier Henry said he also had not come to a decision about his future.

“I’ve not even thought about my future. I’m here for my teammates now,” Henry said.

Sophomore Marcus Morris and sophomore Tyshawn Taylor both said they were definitely coming back to KU next season.

Taylor had several issues, in which there was some speculation he might transfer.

Morris had played so well this season that some people thought he might head to the NBA.

KU coach Bill Self did not address his players’ futures.

“I’m not going to say anything about that,” Self said.
