A 19-year-old Lawrence man was arrested Thursday on charges of aggravated assault, misdemeanor theft and making criminal threats.

According to Lawrence Police Sgt. Mark Warren, the suspect attempted Wednesday night to steal drugs from a gathering in the 500 block of Greystone Drive. When someone confronted the suspect, he grabbed a knife from the kitchen of the residence and threatened the victim.

No one was injured in the incident, which was reported to police Thursday.
