Lawrence Police are investigating multiple burglaries that occurred Saturday evening.

According to Lawrence Police Sgt. Mark Warren, the first burglary was called in about 7:45 p.m. in the 2300 block of Harper Street. A witness in the neighborhood saw an individual loading a television into a vehicle waiting outside.

When officers stopped the suspect’s vehicle, they discovered a number of televisions inside. Warren said police believed the items were from four different burglaries, with a possible fifth falling outside city limits.

Warren said the suspects in the investigation were juveniles.

Police are continuing to investigate the incidents.
