A 21-year-old Lawrence man was arrested Saturday night on charges of aggravated assault after pulling a gun on his wife.

According to Lawrence Police Sgt. Dave Hubbel, the man and his wife, a 26-year-old Lawrence woman, got into an argument and the man started drinking. The woman came to the residence, in the 2100 block of Tennessee Street, and the man pointed a gun at her.

A roommate at the house came out of his bedroom and distracted the man, and the woman left the residence uninjured. The gun belonged to the roommate.
