Police responded to several vehicle accidents along East 23rd Street after 7 p.m. Sunday.

So many wrecks occurred between Learnard and Haskell avenues that officers were redirecting traffic away from that stretch of 23rd Street, and as far east as Harper Street.

Slick road conditions contributed to several other accidents Sunday night, but a complete report was not available.
