A 35-year-old Lawrence man reported Wednesday the theft of property from the 6300 block of Candy Lane. According to police reports, the incident occurred between noon and 4 p.m. Wednesday. Two safes and their contents along with a brown luggage set were among the items reported stolen. The total amount lost in the incident is estimated to be $2,280.
