A Lawrence woman injured in a hit-and-run accident Sunday morning was listed in serious condition Wednesday at a Kansas City-area hospital.
Krystyn Renfro, 32, was walking in the 2700 block of Lawrence Avenue about 1:15 a.m. Sunday, when witnesses said a vehicle hit her and kept driving.
The woman was transported by air ambulance to a Kansas City trauma center.
Police said Wednesday they had not located a suspect vehicle, described as light-colored, possibly silver, with a hatchback. Officers said the car likely has front-end damage.
Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call police, 832-7501 or Crime Stoppers, 843-TIPS (8477).

Good thing the Kansas legislature is spending its time making K-2 illegal and not making the penalties for leaving the scene of an accident more severe.
Hope Krystyn recovers and wish that the spineless coward that did this gets eaten by some kind of lizard

Im sure any one of our elected officials would be happy to speculate that our perpetrator was probably high on K2.
