Overland Park ? The Lawrence High wrestling team dominated its first dual of the season, handling Blue Valley North, 55-16, on Thursday. It was the first dual of the season for the Lions.

Xavier Kenney (103-pound weight class), Hunter Haralson (125), Austin Magdaleno (130), Ryan Schulteis (152), Reece Wright-Conklin (171), Jacob Warren (215) and Brad Wilson (285) all won by fall for Lawrence High.

Garrett Girard (112) won by decision, 4-1, for LHS.

Ben Seybert won by major decision, 14-2, for the Lions.

Lawrence will travel to the Emporia tournament today to take part in the 28-team field.
