A 22-year-old Haskell student was arrested early Saturday morning after breaking into a house in the 1900 block of Clare Rd.

According to Lawrence Police Sgt. Susan Hadl, police were called to the house about 5:20 a.m. when the homeowner heard something in the basement. They found the suspect in the basement. He had forced open the basement door. Nothing was known to be missing.
