Disappointing column

To the editor:

I am writing to express my disappointment in your choice to print Mr. Thomas’ opinion piece on Aug. 10. Freedom of the press carries responsibilities, and by allowing such a bigoted, homophobic, misogynistic article to appear in the Journal-World, you crossed a line. I am sorry to have been reminded, yet again, how deeply out of touch and irrelevant your newspaper has become in this community.
