Robinson to Spain: Former KU guard Russell Robinson has agreed to play basketball in Spain next season. Robinson confirmed to the Journal-World he will play for DKV Joventut Badalona. He recently played for the Indiana Pacers summer league team.

Collins update: Sherron Collins appears to have an overseas option available if he’s not invited to Charlotte Bobcats veterans camp. KK Partizan, a team located in Serbia, has interest in signing Collins, according to Sportske.net.

Hoopsworld.com believes Collins played well enough for the Bobcats’ summer league team to ultimately earn a spot on the NBA roster. The Charlotte Observer lists Collins as a likely third-string point guard behind D.J. Augustin or Shaun Livingston.

I can also see him eating his way out of the NBA.

Collins...great college player, too short for the NBA and not enough ups for the NBA.

I think that Collins competative edge will get him in the NBA and eventually start. He is the winningest player ever @ KU, he put up 32 points in front of Jordan, and the great Larry Brown will be his coach! One bad game really hurt him or else he would have been a shoe in. If Nate Robinson and Jameer Nelson can play, so can collins!
