A local business reported Friday the burglary and theft of property from a residence in the 700 block of Walnut Street. According to police reports, the incident occurred between 5 p.m. Friday and 6:21 p.m. Sunday. A door, sink and home appliances were among the items reported stolen. The total reported loss was more than $4,400.
