U-11 Champs: Kaw Valley Force-Holland U-11 girls won in last weekend’s KVSA tournament. Team members are Skylar Drum, Olivia Lemus, Sabrea Platz, April Hodges, Carson Drake, Rachel Schuck, Natalie Clarke, Abi Hummel, Avery Munns, Sydney Vogelsang, Tori Reynolds, Emma Perez and Mikayla Downs. Riny de Boer is the coach.

Orchards Golf: Senior Men’s Club will meet at 9 a.m. Friday at the clubhouse. League play will begin Tuesday. Two-person 18-hole scramble set for April 24. Night golf begins May 1. For information, call 843-7456.

Gymnastics state championship: The Lawrence Gymnastics and Athletics Level 5 boys gymanstics team, coached by Josh Petty, won the state championship Saturday in Wichita with strong efforts from Drew Smith, George Depenbush, Keaton Stramberg and Daniel Nangriacino. Level 6 gymanst Pip Cooper qualified to go to the regionals in New Orleans April 9-11.

Ruggers Romp: Dylan Brooks had two tries and a conversion as Junior Jayhawks Rugby Club clipped the South Central Spartans, 48-7, last Saturday in Wichita.
