A 24-year-old Lawrence man was injured Tuesday in a one-vehicle mo-ped accident.

According to accident reports, the man was transported to Kansas University Hospital by air ambulance for collapsed lung and possible rib fracture.

The man was driving southbound in the 1900 block of Naismith Drive when he brought his mo-ped down going too fast around a curve. He told officers he was traveling 35 miles per hour at the time of the accident.
