Game balls and Gassers

Candidates for Game balls

• QB Todd Reesing for continuing to be the best scrambler in the world.

• S Chris Harris was all over the field. He had seven tackles, forced a fumble, recovered a fumble and broke up a pass.

• RB Toben Opurum had a memorable debut, rushing for 79 yards and two TDs.

• WR Kerry Meier had 115 receiving yards and did an even better job of blocking.

Candidates for Gassers

• CB Anthony Davis was flagged three times for pass interference. The first was declined.

• WR Dezmon Briscoe, DT Jamal Greene, WR Raimond Pendleton and DE Jeff Wheeler for not working up a sweat during the game because of suspensions.
