A 40-year-old Topeka woman was treated and released from Lawrence Memorial Hospital Friday evening after an injury accident on U.S. Highway 40. The accident occurred about 6:20 p.m. when a vehicle traveling southbound on East 800 Road failed to stop at a stop sign. The vehicle entered the intersection and struck a second vehicle. Of the four people involved in the accident, no one was seriously injured. All four people were wearing their seatbelts.
