Late Night in the Phog to be featured on ESPNU

Kansas University’s Late Night in the Phog will be featured on ESPNU’s program “Going Mad of Midnight Madness,” a four-hour special that will air on Friday, Oct. 16 starting at 8 p.m.

The Jayhawks also were featured on the program last season.

“Going Mad of Midnight Madness” will feature nine schools, with eight of them ranked in ESPN.com writer Andy Katz’s preseason top 25. Other schools that will be showcased are Michigan State, North Carolina, Kentucky, Duke, Washington, Georgetown, Connecticut and North Dakota State.

Dave Armstrong and Fran Fraschilla will broadcast from Allen Fieldhouse for ESPNU (channel 141 on Sunflower Broadband in Lawrence).
